1 x large bottle of Keo
1 x small bottle of Keo
4 x shots of Vodka
2 x can of Red Bull
32 Euros!
They had no bar menu on show at the time - I am going to ask the price next time I venture out there

TBH I dont think thats too bad at all
Comparison with say a town centre bar in UK
1 x Large btl beer ie Magners = 4.00
1 x small btl beer ie Bud = 2.95
4 x shots vodka @2,50 = 10.00
2 x cans red bull @ 2.00 = 4.00
Total £21.95 ( at todays rates approx 24 euros)
Bearing in mind the sh*t pound at the moment
If the pound had remained at the rate is was 3-4 years ago when pound was at 1.60 euros then it would have equated to around the £22.00 mark. So you wouldnt have been complaining.
I keep coming on forum and saying that Cyprus has not got more expensive the poor sterling rate is to blame for the so called price increases
Should Cyprus have to lower its prices because the pound is so week? I dont think so

Sorry, hairdryer blew a fuse.
Even with this Sterling low point (hopefully) CY is still pretty good value.
"Value" is the word here. Take one my favourite fishes - swordfish, had it three or four times in Aug in CY and had change from 12E. Here in GB, would be lucky to get it for £20 and for half the amount.
The variabilty in beer prices in CY does worry me however. Here in London today, saw Carlsberg in pub on sale for £2.50 pint and have never paid more than £3 for a pint of any beer.

Do you want to borrow some hair spray?
Some things are - some things aren't.
I really don't understand why beer and coffee is soooooooooo expensive.

Dunno about coffee but with only two big breweries/distributors in the Free Areas, am thinking some kind of price fixing? Just a suspicion.
