Turkish Cypriots are not a “main ethnic group” by any measure or definition. There are around 200,000 illegal Anatolian immigrants in the occupied territory and 60,000 odd Brits living legally in the unoccupied territory of Cyprus as permanent residents, so as you can see you’re not even the second largest ethnic group!

Christos je Panayia !

So the order in terms of numbers is ...

1.Grissies
2.Illegal Settlers
3.Ex-Pat Brits in Peyia
4.With Tissies bringing up the rear. !!!! ????

Spot on! Let's put some numbers next to them...

1.Grissies = 650,000 - 700,000
2.Illegal Settlers = 180-210,000 (includes 37-40k Turkish troops)
3.Ex-Pat Brits in Peyia = 59,000 - 60,000
4.With Tissies bringing up the rear = 50,000

When ur elected representatives speak out and claim what u claim; ur arguement regarding the status of TCs will be considered valid and u will find TCs arguing u abt whether TCs r one of the main ethnic groups of Cyprus or not.

Under almost abt 40 years lasted defacto situation which mainly GC and Greek national front r responsibles; many TCs had to emigrate other countries... TC population was 1/3 of Cyprus population and still is 1/3 of Cyprus population...

It is too obvious to me that one of ur disgusting aims was to delay the solution of Cyprus problem in order to lead the emigration of more TCs and base ur foolish arguements on that there's no TCs in Cyprus.

Don't foolishly claim that it is Turkey that caused emigration of TCs because any country under embargoes would face with the same faith. Imagine urself under embargoes and see mass emigration of ur GC people...

Insan stop appealing to the lies your administration has been feeding you and wake-up and smell the coffee (as has been mentioned to you often enough).

There is no way, in this day and age, with Cyprus strengthened by the EU so that blackmail from Turkey is diminished, that you (TCs) will ever hold us to ransom (ever again) and unfair demands against the normal practices of Democracy, be restored back into common practice...

Read between the lines of politic-speak and stop selling your soul to Turkey. The future is Democracy and you are being dragged there whether you like or not ... so stop kicking and screaming and pleading ignorance!

2004 was also in this day and age... another 2004 is on the way coming... We will soon witness who is kicking and screaming and pleading ignorance!

Listen very carefully what ur ex-president Klerides told just a week ago... "In the last 5 years, most of the things changed in favour of TCs and Turkey; regarding Cyprus problem."

Klerides ... I don't know the man ... stop listening to the voices of the PAST no matter how soothing!

Thanks Unkie,

So perhaps Muhktar Talat should withdraw from the "talks" and we might invite the Admin from Cyprus Dying to take his place?

...Or we could make the talks three party? A bit like the back end of the Colonial Period.

What could be more disgusting than Turkish troops ethnically cleansing 185,000 Cypriots from 37% of their country while your people applauded this mass crime and even assisted with the murder of hundreds if not thousands of those who wouldn’t or couldn’t flee?

Your diabolic plan to steal a significant chunk of a sovereign country and eliminate the undesirable indigenous Cypriots so that you could create a pseudo-Ottoman state backfired on you because you underestimated the resilience and industriousness of the indigenous Cypriots… the very same people who had slowly but surely turned the dark Ottoman rule on Cyprus right around and look at where you are now and where they are!

There is only ONE way on Cyprus Insan, and it’s the indigenous Cypriot’s way so if you can’t beat them join them, but if you can’t join them then…

Did you have anything to do with the current situation or was it all down to the ill armed minority?
