Galbraith Was Ordered to Cover Up Karzai Fraud

“Former US Ambassador Peter Galbraith, who was fired from his role as second ranking official at the UN Mission to Afghanistan last week, says he was ordered by mission chief Kai Eide to cover up the extent of the voter fraud by Afghan President Hamid Karzai.”

Cover Up of Israeli War Crimes in Gaza: Ban Ki-Moon's Moral Failure

"This is but one of the many sad stories of how the UN top leadership has betrayed and failed its mission. The UN does not exist only to protect its personnel and installations. The UN flag alone ought to provide that kind of real protection -- immunity which no state dares to violate without fear of the consequences. But Israel has repeatedly attacked UN facilities, schools, peacekeeping forces and personnel in Palestine and Lebanon knowing full well that it, not the UN, enjoys immunity for its actions. The next time Israel attacks a UN facility, part of the responsibility will lie with those who failed to act correctly this time around."

Robert Fisk: So, I asked the UN secretary general, isn't it time for a war crimes tribunal?

“Mr Ban said it would not be up to him to launch a war crimes tribunal. It was pathetic”

Ban Ki-moon's excusing of Israel

UN Special Rapporteur Richard Falk has expressed his serious disappointment over UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon's decision not to pursue a full scale investigation into Israel's criminal attacks on Gaza. His decision comes after the release of a UN Board of Inquiry report documenting Israel's multiple human rights violations.

I Really Can’t Treat The UN Seriously. Especially With A Frontman Like That

What is this guy, Ban Ki-Moon, the UN Secretary General, about? Is he for real or what? Should anyone treat him seriously or is he just a stand-up comedian, who comes out before the world media and says funny things, without expecting us to take him seriously? Because I honestly believe that seasoned hacks cannot really treat Ban seriously. I even have a suspicion that most of the delegates at the UN are sniggering quietly, when good old Ban does his thing, and sometimes enjoy a good discreet chuckle. I watched the UN Secretary General a couple of times in action, last time some months ago when he ventured bravely into Burma and demanded to see that dissident woman, Suu Kyi, but was kept waiting for two days and then was told to get lost by the generals.

Ban Ki-Moon is lame duck on Sri Lanka !!

It has become a habitual preoccupation for the government of Sri Lanka to deny anything that highlights the adversity of its war against the Tamil Tigers or the predicament facing the Tamil population living either in the IDP camps or in the midst of the massive army presence in the North and East.

Fired Afghan envoy starts legal action against U.N.

The former deputy U.N. envoy to Afghanistan, U.S. diplomat Peter Galbraith, said on Thursday that he has launched legal action against the United Nations for firing him without any justification.

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon dismissed Galbraith in September after the veteran U.S. official publicly accused his boss, Norwegian diplomat Kai Eide, of playing down reports of widespread fraud in an August presidential election.

Old Ban is not much worse than his predecessors. At best, he is an irrelevant, gibbering mess.

He may well be the most corrupt UN chief in the history of the UN...

What do u expect from him? To behave like a one man army and stop all the bs goes around?

U meaninglessly critisize him but can't propose how he must behave, what he must do etc...

Being the General Secretary of UN; he is just a spoke person of the organization he is the head of which the so-called RoC also is a member of...

If Moon is a war criminal, so-called RoC also is the partner in his crimes... He represents the member states of UN.
