A trade-off of the lost TC properties with the equivilent properties in the TRNC would not be a bad idea, would it?

There are not enough properties to "trade off"

Up to 200,000 Cypriots moved south, only 45,000 moved north. The Turkish Cypriots do not have enough property to exchange - unless they occupy a much smaller part of the island.

Since when did all the properties have equal value, judging by the price of land and property, GCs will have to give up some more land.

According to your perverted logic Fred the GCs should move into tiny slums and the TCs should all live in mansions.

So you want even more land? What do you suggest - we abandon another town the size of Varosha - would Larnaca do?

The value of properties has nothing to do with the Cyprus problem as each refugee should return to whatever they owned... period!

Also, it would take the Republic 2-3 years to bring all four corners of Cyprus back up to scratch and land/property value uniform island wide.
