The world has seen who are the murderers: Turkish police, pseudo-parliamentarians and youth:

So let's look at the geography.

Where's Turkey?

Turkey, thinks she is important enough (or smart enough) to attain EU privileges without any of the EU obligations, given that she can never recognize one of the EU members (Cyprus), or she would’ve withdrawn her EU application altogether!

Chasing after something they concurrently reject is a total waste of time and money for Turkey’s citizens…

Turkey has to fulfill the obligations in order to be accepted to join EU but recognizing the so-called RoC which was established by Greeks of Cyprus in 1964 is not one of Turkey's obligation to fulfill.

Not necessarily. They will always have the very special dance of the surreal they can rely on when dealing with EU reality:

Turkey has to fulfill the obligations in order to be accepted to join EU but recognizing the so-called RoC which was established by Greeks of Cyprus in 1964 is not one of Turkey's obligation to fulfill.

In order for Turkey to abide by EU regulations she would have to have a relationship with all EU members that amounts to the full recognition of these members.

I don’t have a problem with Turkey not recognizing Cyprus, but I do expect her to do the honorable thing and withdraw her application instead of wasting everyone’s time with nonsense!

It’s embarrassing for Erdogan to keep going to Brussels and saying…

“I’d like to join this alliance but I don’t like one of your members!”

The answer to which of course is… “Then don’t come back here again!”
