What Role do you Personally want to Play, Post Solution?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

as I said.

TCs were born with ugliest fate. They will remain slave, only masters will change. from Turkish speakers to Greek speakers.

How will they remain slaves in a modern democracy?

I’d like to be appointed as head of Cyprus’ “Psychological Reconditioning Unit”, setup to deal with any Greek and/or Turkish nationalists who may attempt to cause anti-Cypriot upheaval.

The institution would include effective state funded remedies such as lobotomies, clinical mental rearrangements, and complete mental rebirths, all geared towards Cypriot nationalism… as it should be! :D

Only one position per person, your already head of stupidity section don't be greedy!

Yialousa, I have a special place for you in the future Cyprus…

I’d have you bent over on a full time basis to test all Shoushouko production… 8)

And I’m being VERY lenient with you.

:? Then I give it to you to eat, shit included.

You call it Modern Democracy?

you are not even accepting their language.
will you celebrate Ataturk day?
Will you let them put Turkish Flag next to your Greek Flags?
Will you GCs accept them as 1st Level Humans? since they are not speaking greek? and GCs will have trouble in ordering them in Turkish?

sitting in england, and talking about Cyprus is quite different than sitting inside Cyprus, dealing with it everyday, and making an idea of your own people.

We are talking about forming a modern democracy for one nation of people. If they want to bring all their Turkish baggage into the system, then it's tantamount to them demanding a dictatorship.

I'll re-iterate again, not just for these above outlandish demands, but TCs will not get such a say in the solution which will be forged on EU democratic principles to be acceptable as a solution!

And what gives you so much clout to dictate what the TCs want when you are not even a TC ...

"MODERN" EU "DEMOCRACY"(read as domaltmasi)

I often say that the Spaniards are the ones who constantly give us reasons to want independence. I also often say that the Spaniards will never let us be. The multi-national Spain that some would like is be more difficult to achieve than independence.
Why?
Because independence we can get by our own will (without them wanting it) while a multi-national federal system can only be achieved with their collaboration and they will NEVER give away the power they’ve got over us voluntarily.
There are many signs that prove that the Spanish mentality in power today still is the imperialist one. A mentality that does not want to embrace the multi-cultural or multi-national reality of Spain.
Up till now there were 148 laws imposing the use of Spanish language in commerce. Only one law protects the Catalan language within the Catalan territory. But this law is not even being applied (perhaps because our politicians are afraid that by applying this law the hatred in Spain against Catalans would increase even more).
The fact is that the Spanish authorities this year have developed three new laws in order to reinforce and impose the hegemony of Spanish language in Spanish territory.
We all thought things would get better with democracy, but in the ‘democratic’ Spain of today this mentality hasn’t changed much. In fact the linguistic laws are pretty much the same as in times of the dictator. Everything must be in Spanish language. The other languages are not taken in consideration.
This mentality is causing a lot of trouble to develop a normal life in Catalan language; this attitude is a constant threat that is slowly bringing our mother tongue to extinction. I don’t have to say that the only and best way to get rid of this mentality is independence.

Bad Boy you can obviously see the dangers involved for us allowing the GCs to impose their style of "democracy and human rights" if its suits them its OK but if its anything that will allow us our basic freedom like language it has to be pushed aside just like we would be in a united Cyprus without safeguards and guarantees. Do yo unow understand why we hang onto the m so dearly GC like Oracle and Christine, there are many will try everything to twist and manipulate EU laws to support their ultimate goal of turning Cyprus into a Greek island run by GCs and us reduced to just another minority in our own country.
