Barouti I see where you are coming from mate but if we dont take a bold step then I dont believe will get anything back from Turkey.

I'm just trying to find a way where we can rid ourselves of Turkey.

Only way to do that is to win over the TCs and they will do it for you.

only on the internet do i see such hatred every turk and tcs ive met in person ive got on very well with and the tcs always like to point out everytime they see a mainland turk talking saying they speak like idiots and hate them...

but all this myth of not being able to trust gcs and live incase we try kill you.. its all rubbish. tuska re honest about wanting two states but they do not say the real reason WHY they cover it with lies about how they cant trust gcs so they must have their own state.

well at the moment turkey are in cyprus occupying eu land what is the difference from the situation now where they occupy by force the land and ignore all the eu and un laws to leave and if they left and felt they had to send soldiers here again? you think the eu or un would lift a finger to stop the turks? yeah because at the moment they are doing a lot to force the turkish army out...

well if i was on the turkish side and had a army over 10 times the size just 75km away no i wouldent be "scraed"

on on the gc side if un and maybe eu said they would protect us against turks that would make me feel more then safe.. safe that turkey wont try to plant bombs for the tcs and cause riots and problems for excuses to invade.

You are not looking at the whole picture, you want to get rid of Turkey and the security guarantees, how do you want us to feel happy? Once Turkey leaves the situation is now much different from 1974 and she would not be allowed ot move by the bigger powers so you are being naive this makes us think this is relaly waht you want as then you can do as you please and we woul feel at risk all the time...we need security measure by a body that we can trust to step in in times of crisis why do you want to deny us this? have you got hidden agendas so you want the way clear fro you to do as you wish?? this does not make us feel very safe and in fact makes us ask for even more safeguards and guarantees.

do you think a little bit of paper saying turkey cant send army troops would stop them if they needed to? which lets face it the chances of that are nil! it just means turkey cant plant bombs for the tcs and cause problems..

sooner or later turkey will leave. what happens when turkey has no chance of eu.. will eu let turkey sit forever on eu land when there is no chance of her joining the eu? maybe the only reason they do nothing now is because they still have a shot at eu membership?

You read but you dont understand, people need time to heal their wounds and thoughts to change therefore transition periods are needed to show we can trust each other and live together peacefully. You want to believe that waht we say is a myth but believe me its a reality and no one would vote for a solution where Turkeys guarantees are taken away, the only thing they would accept is transition periods.
