It's up to us to agree to a solution!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Not really .... the solution isn't. It's certainly not up to the enemy, Turkey, to blackmail us into changing our sovereignty. And since the TCs have sided with the enemy they have taken themselves out of the equation for formulating personal provisos.

It will be a solution which restores democracy into the hands of the RoC to develop the country as befits its EU status.

Isnt it common sense not to dilly dally too much ............ otherwise he will be dealing with Cyprus Turks rather that Turkish Cypriots. What is his choice?

Dear Mr Deniz, I think you will find that he is already dealing with the Cypus Turks as the Tc's are no more anyway. He already knows he is dealing with Turkey thats why he is constantly sidestepping Talat and asking questions directly to Turkey, as he knows full well who is in charge.

If anyone is dilly dallying, it isn't Ms oracle, is it?

I think it is time the TC's actually realised that they are being taken for a ride and that Turkeys interest is NOT in their (TCs) best Interest. Shame you haven't realised this, your time is running out, you have far more to lose than the GCs do.

GUL SAYS THE CYPRUS QUESTION SHOULD BE SOLVED UNDER THE FRAMEWORK OF THE UN PARAMETERS

Turkish President Abdullah Gul has underlined the importance of bringing a just and lasting solution to the Cyprus problem by the end of the year for peace and stability in the whole region.

In an address to the Turkish Parliament yesterday, the Turkish President referred the Cyprus question as a national cause and said that the problem should be solved within the United Nations parameters.

“I want to remind the whole world that the equation formed on the basis of the status quo in Cyprus cannot last forever” the President said, warning that the existing window of opportunity would not remain open forever.

It should be known that the Cyprus Turks cannot be continuously kept aside by the international community and cannot be kept under isolation” Mr Gül said.

Stressing that Turkey was seen as the guarantee of peace and stability in its region, he said the pursuit of active policies on the Cyprus issue was the sign of Turkey’s growing role in the world.

The President pointed out that negotiations between the two leaders in Cyprus were continuing within the framework of the UN Secretary General’s good offices mission on the basis of standing UN parameters; a bi-zonal order, political equality and the establishment of a new partnership by two founding states.

On Turkey’s EU membership, Mr Gul said that EU membership was one of Ankara’s main objectives set long ago.

How would end up this film ?

They can say what they like Halil, they know they have till the end of the year. After that I have a feeling Eroglu will drive them insane with the permission of Turkey because Turkey will have what she wants from EU by then.

they are allready working very hard ........

Some 50 organizations led by the Association for the Promotion of the TRNC have sent a letter consisting of their views on the Cyprus issue to Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Representatives of 47 organizations visited the Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Şakir Fakılı this morning to present him their letter.

In the letter, the organizations stress their determination not to allow the misuse of the will expressed by 80 percent of the Cyprus Turkish People in support of a settlement respecting the existence of two states.

They say that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is a strong state with its own territory, flag and sovereignty which will make it possible for future generations to live in peace without concern.

On Wednesday, the organizations handed another copy of the letter to Prime Minister Derviş Eroğlu.

I don't know how they got this persantage ........80 percent :?:

Hali statement above is a load of rubbish. You are not a sovereign state you state is based on theif and murder.

How about under the framework of UN resolutions calling for the withdrawal of all Turkish troops and settlers? That'll be a good start.

Hermes you see those dont count because they dont agree with the TC or Turkish point of view.

You see Turkey only goes along with UN Resolutions if they agree with them otherwise they stick two fingers up.

Dear Deniz, you are not listening to me. Perhaps if I spoke a little louder, WE ARE ALREADY TALKING A DEAL WITH TURKEY, TALAT IS A PUPPET AND HAS NO MEANING AND NO INFLUENCE.

Don't you see he even has to ask Turkey when he can take a shit and when to screw the wife.

Just goes to show how much power and respect he commands by looking at the aeroplane saga, he is a nobody, thats what I have been trying to tell you.

As for Turkey she will yield when the time is right, that I am sure.

Gloating I ma not, I am just telling you blind believers how it is, but you are not having it.

Good luck, as you are going to need it. Well not you as you are not even in Cyprus but hailing from afar.
