Anw evarethika se. Kani se.
I don't only read and comment on posts I like. This is a discussion forum, so I am free to read and comment on posts that I don't like as well.
By saying "if your [sic] greek theen [sic] go to greece where the greeks are" you are once again showing your naivety. This is exactly the sort of comment I expect from you (and not because of the spelling mistakes). I am Greek Cypriot, as confirmed by our country's constitution. So going by our constitution, according to you, our entire community should move to Greece, and leave the island to Turkey?
The majority of Cyprus' population define themselves as Greek Cypriot, so are you going to tell them all to leave for Greece? I'd love to see you try. I am from Cyprus, and therefore, I do not need to go anywhere. If a Greek living in America calls himself a Greek American, should an American say to him, return to Greece then where the other Greeks are? The modern state of Greece does not have the monopoly on being Greek. There are ethnic Greeks all over the world that do not live in Greece. So you are factually incorrect by implying that all Greeks live in Greece, not forgetting that Greece did not expand sufficiently to cover all Greek populated areas anyway. Historically and culturally, Cyprus is just as Greek as any other Greek island. Cypriots have been predominantly Greek for thousands of years. The only reason Cyprus is not part of Greece today is because of the geo-strategic interests of the big players. Otherwise, there wouldn't even be any of this debate today about whether Cyprus is Greek or not. So when I asked for an intelligent argument from you, if this was your attempt, then I'm afraid you sadly failed.
I seem to remember a while back you agreeing with epsilon I think it was that the RoC should be called the Greek Republic of Cyprus whilst the "TRNC" is here. You make me laugh Palio.
