Talks' failure will lead to partition

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Once this “negotiations” gimmick is over then the RoC and her citizens press on with so many concurrent law suits it’ll make Turkey’s head spin.

GR to drive through court cases via EU to solve the Cyprus Problem will take 100 Thousand years.
You need to be more practical.

Failure of talks will lead to partition!!!

Really!!! And what is Bizonal Bicommunal if not partition with a different name? We are fooling ourselves if we think that it is anything else. BBF is partition with a friendly face. The choice is whether partition will be friendly or unfriendly, whether we can rent a holiday home in the north with or without VAT.

So lay off the threats that failure of the talks will lead to partition, we have been used to partition by now. It does not scare us. Those thinktankers must come up with something more imaginative to scare us.

You want quick and practical? I’d suggest a full blown military operation to liberate the occupied territory but many of my compatriots will frown at that...

There’s only so much Turkey is willing to sacrifice to have a foothold on Cyprus and if we’re prepared to sacrifice more it can and will be done.

Talks failure will lead to partition of Turkey and the EU and the failure of Turkey's strategic vision. The ROC will still be in the EU, still be the legitimate government of the whole island and the T/cs will all leave for a better life elsewhere. Frankly, if the talks fail little changes for the ROC. Either Turkey meets our demands or they can go f**k themselves.

GR, it does not need undue sacrifice, just some thinking out of the box by our military, which unfortunately is not evident. There are technologies out there that render most of the modern army hardware obsolete, but we do not have a military research institute, we prefer to spend our money on bullshit, like new luxury marinas for non existent yachtsmen.
