I googled "kel fatti" and came up with just 2 results. One of them is above, linked.

I guess u u meant alay edeng or dalga geçeng by saying alay geçeng... colloquially we say daşşak geçeng or maytap geçeng.

Kel Fatti sounds like Kel Fatih meaning bold conqueror. As to the changing TC language, I have met people from Bodamya 40 years ago who spoke Turkish like that. It was there all that time ago. Have you noticed what happend to the GCs Cypriotness, They are furhter ahead than us in the change of their language.

But I go by the Steven Fry’s philosophy on language. A non changing Language is a dead language. Latin for example.

Thanks for that Iceman. I did a correction to 'ortagin kel fatti'. As to its use it seems to vary a little, but in general its the same.

'Fatik' in Ottoman refers to someone who is daring and venturesome. I wonder if there is a link there.
