Are all your politicians unthinking bombs?

GR! is right ... you should all be de-militarised!

I am deeply sorry you feel this way, Palio.

Did Isaak ask to have 50 Grey Wolves batter him to death, in his own country? If he did ask for it and it was his "own fault" as you say ... ask yourself why he made such a sacrifice?

And yes his cousin Solomos was consequently emotionally affected by the battering and symbolically tried to lower a foreign flag ... maybe he heard warnings, maybe he didn't ... it was chaotic ... and I'm not even sure Alkin called out to him before cold-bloodedly shooting him.

Afxentiou could have come out of the cave when the Brits called him (like the rulers they were) ... but he stood his ground and was burnt alive.

Were all our heroes stupid, palio?

no of course not.. the video on youtube where the police are beating him..

but i dont see what Solomou thought trying to pull the flag down would achieve. i think the batsard turks will get whats coming to them for coming to cyprus killing 20.000 cypriots for no reason then continueing to cause problems to have an excuse to invade and split our island in two then continue to voilate so many laws and be such hypocrites the scum of the earth turks for dong such things.

but he should of stopped and instead of giving his life he could of handled things differently. to be alive and see justise.

i shiouldent of said stupid but it just doesrent make sense to kill yourself when he could of had justise against the turks and been alive to see the turks tasken to court recently

But, we don't think like the Turks. Solomos did not think like the Turks. Which decent human being would think someone would shoot you for trying to lower a flag?

Different mentality, Palio. Solomos couldn't have possibly known he was going to be shot for such a thing ...

no your right but what else can anyone expect from such barbarians they killed 20.000 cypritos just for the hell of it.. you cant expect much from a barbarian race who live like apes and still mary donkeys

I have good friends who are Turkish Cypriot. I empathise with them and their situation.

why not let them have their own land?

 Because it is not just their land but it is mostly OUR land. If they can't live with us and they want a state of their own they can go to ask from Turkey to donate them land in Turkey. They have no right to ethnically cleanse us and steal our land. But of course an immoral person like you can not understand this simple thing!

Sotos, I just can't understand why you think the efforts of the Greek side to expunge the Turkish Cypriots in late 1963 and the attempted coup in 1974 is moral. Is it moral for Greeks to do this kind of thing whilst for others it is evil?
