Vista ultimate question!!

my laptop crashed down few months ago and i had to put a new windows on, it had xp pro and i put up vista ultimate, week ago i alway get a message that something wrong with my windows so i end up buying another vista ! now the problem is i still have the old xp and ultimate restored on C and it is taking big space, i wanna set up new vista and delete the old 2 windows (xp&vista) !! i have no clue how to do that..!

this is what i did!! i know its dead easy ! i just dont know how to delete the other windows restored on C !

Delete the current partition....

or

Install the new Vi$ta and ask it to format the existing partition.

Simples.

when i try to delete the current windows a messge pop up saying i cant delete it !!!

You obviously don't have the knowledge required to install an operating system. Get professional help and stop pestering people in here because nobody is going to sit here for the next three hours giving you step by step instructions!

You should have gone to cypriaglaze, They are good at installing windows.

There is no such thing as "cannot delete partition", everything created can be deleted as in everything created can be destroyed 8)
Anyway, if it had xp on it, I would not suggest vista, because it might not have the necessary hardware for it.
But it's easy, don't let yourself discouraged. Ask questions here and I'll try to help you or better yet, get a friend that knows what he's doing... this should be done in no time (aprox 30-50 minutes with all basic programs for music and videos).
