114 thousand Turkish settlers will be granted “citizenship”

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Even if that happens the bloody carpetbaggers will blame it on the GC's and they will all come and ask for compensation from the RoC because they were looking after our properties

First, the Turks force all T/Cs into one vast enclave in the north. They give it a name (the "TRNC") and tell them it's a state even though no-one recognises it. Then they ship in a mass of settlers and station 40,000 soldiers to "protect" them.

Has it never occurred to the T/Cs that they are in a vast prison camp and are slowly being exterminated? The slow ethnic cleansing of the T/Cs at the hands of the Turkish army. You'd think the T/Cs would get a bit more angry about it.

Ah well, don't say we didn't warn you...

While you are almost right, you failed to realise that the key to the prison is being held by the dreaded RoC. With those beautiful words throw the key to this dreaded prison that you hold and then we may get somewhere.
Don't you say I didn'r warn you now!

Hermes the TC's dont mind giving up what not rightfully theirs. They know that if things dont work out they can always come to the south and re-claim their property so why should they give a shit.

What our goverment should do is close the green line not let anyone cross. Lets see how they get on then. I dont know why we are giving them citizenship if they dont want to be part of our country.

The first bit is true and likely to happen and the second is impossible. RoC cannot close the border to the TCs. It's the EU way old boy. It's a double edge sword.

We can do what we like. EU cant make Turkey give up the occupied land they cant make us keep the green line open. Look at all the other EU nation breaking EU law like the italians Greece with all the migrants so why cant we.

Try it and find out. Have you ever tried touching a live electric wire? it would have the same effect.

opening the green line saved turkeys ass it was completely in their favour all it did for cypritos was allow them to go into the north and see their homes.. for "trnc" they made lots of money from idiot cypriots who go to gamble and allowed them to come take our jobs and get passports and enjoy eu benefits... whats it done for cypriots the green line? nothing because its not worth stepping foot in the invaded north until the bastards leave
