Where was Turkey when Cyprus spoke at the UN? Were they too scare to hear the truth?

Thank you. I am proud to be Greek. Are you proud to be Turkish? I guess not. You cannot answer my question. So keep calling me a Greek. Thank you again.

I was born in America. But, both my parents are from Cyprus. My mother from Nicosia, and my father from Kyrenia. I have 26 first cousins living in Cyprus and I have property in Kyrenia and Nicosia. As my cousins say, If you brought a English bulldog and it gave birth in Cyprus would it be a Cypriot bulldog? The answer is no. My children, 2nd generation feel more Cypriot than American. Why? Our bloodline is in Cyprus for at least 5.770 BC or longer.

well said! i completely agree.. some would disagree but not me! your perants your roots are cypriot so of course your cypriot not american.

some say its where your born others what your perants are..
so the turks are living in your home now.. i went to keryneia a few times nice place..both mine are from nicosia we had no land in the north both from paliometoxo..:D

that would be sweet to be born in america i went once to new york and miami i think i would live off popeyes chicken if i lived there haha.

there is more cypriots living in london alone then all of cyprus i can only imagine in america there is lots also if all of the cypriots came back there would be a few million at least. but work is much better in america and england and i doubt anyone will come back anytime soon which is a shame..

im sure you will get your land back when the barbarian turks are forced off our island

Cypriots are coming that much anymore. I been to Cyprus this summer. It is a mini America. I cannot visit Kyrenia. My cousin said last May he went to his father's grave and the cross was destroyed. I will only return to Kyrenia when it is freed. I still have missing relatives. My brother said they destroyed the church my father was christen and my grandparents were married in. I told my uncle if I living I promised to bring my grandmother's remains to be bury next to my grandfather. Luckily, he was not alive during the invasion. My other grandfather was killed during the invasion. So I am very bitter about Turkish occupation. It is difficult for me to be civil toward Turks. My family here boycott anything that is Turkish. In my town we have a Turkish Cypriot who has a Greek restaurant. My neighbors and co-workers think he's Greek. When I refuse to give him my business I say I boycott anything Turkish till the occupation is over.
