It sounds like Cypriot. :? guuvgle it please GG. :D

it's not spanish, but similar, so i am thinking italian?????

In spite of the title being in Italian, the music is Cuban (I think)

That would be Spanish then! The composer is a wap, but has also released stuff in Spanish..

WAP?
i am not so sure that is spanish. i speak decent spanish, and it is similar, but not spanish as i know it. which is why i thought it might be italian... or it could be some weird spanish dialect. i sent this to a hispanic friend and i am waiting to hear his opinion.
but WAP? what's a WAP?

WAP is (probably old) American slang for an Italian.

it would be WOP, and it would be derogitory. like calling someone a cracker or a nigger. it's just not said anymore.

You are right. Getting senile and drinking too much KEO does things like that to you!

It's in Italian. I translated the lyrics into English with google translation service...

This and 'the navel of the world
the navel of the world
This and 'the navel of the world
the navel of the world

And 'here you meet
funny faces
a beauty
a bit 'disarming
Ebony skin
a father's native
and emerald eyes
like diamond
Colored breeds new faces
as the millennium
that is beginning
This and 'the navel of the world
and we are already 'dancing

This and 'the navel of the world
the navel of the world

This and 'the navel of the world
where no one knows where it ends
And going inside themselves
the source of breathing
And 'here that
find naked men
with a wealth of imagination
This and 'the navel of the world
[Jovanotti Lyrics are found on www.songlyrics.com]
feel this energy rising

This and 'the navel of the world
the navel of the world
This and 'the navel of the world
the navel of the world ...

This and 'the navel of the world
and 'here and there' the
imagination well
Junction of the experience
and change in expression
Where life is precious
and our love becomes actions
Where the rules do not exist
are only the exceptions

This and 'the navel of the world
the navel of the world
the navel of the world
the navel of the world ...

This and 'the navel of the world
and 'here comes the energy
Nerve center of the new world
from here that every new route
The provinces of the great empire,
I hear a voice that is rising
This and 'the navel of the world
and we are already 'dancing

This and 'the navel of the world
the navel of the world
the navel of the world
the navel of the world
