Integration of North and South is inevitable

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

You are right Expatwiki, we don't need any stereotyping. We can judge everybody by his views.

You support crimes such as ethnic cleansing and illegalities such as the "trnc". That is more than enough to understand what kind of person you are.

Yeah; a person who cares about the Turkish Cypriot people. 1963-65, 1974, and the embargoes prove just how much you and your ilk care...

Expat,

Are you still living in the Los Angeles area or have you moved to the bible-belt southern states.?

Are you actively forming ethnic divisions in the US so that each of the 180+ nationalities living in the US can seek their own self determinations all claiming their own parcel of land to achieve that, so that united states will become 180+ countries in the end. I would have though by now, since we talked a year or so ago, that you would have at least got the Mexicans half of California back, since they once owned that land, and just to prove it, most places are named in Spanish. Unless you are doing that in the US, don't expect people to accept your idea of self determination on others land in Cyprus no matter what ethnic group you are supporting. Go and do it in the US first and then come and tell us how it all went, and then we can do the same in Cyprus.!

Back in 1963, no one force Turkish Cypriots to leave. If we did why did most remain on our Greek island? Why do the Turkish Cypriots speak Greek instead of Turkish? I know Turkish Cypriots who are so ashamed that the call themselves Greek Cypriots than be compared to the Turks of Turkey. On Turk told me he is so ashamed of the Turks of Turkey he rather be anything but a Turk.

Turks have no leg to stand on the Cyprus issue. That is why they hid their heads in the sand last week. The world is tired of having Turkey thumbing their noses on international law. They are on the wrong side of the war of Terror.

Turkey doesn't make weapons. The weapons they have come from the US because they were important during the cold war. Now the cold war is over. Turkey is no longer important. Their citizens are fighting not with the West but with al Queda. Without weapons they armies are useless.

To tell you the truth. Only the terrorist ones live in New York. None come from Cyprus except for one. He calls his restaurant a Greek restaurant. Plays Greek music. He speaks only Greek. When you ask him what is your nationality. He says, a Greek from Cyprus. But his name is Ayan. That doesn't sound Greek to me!

Ayhan. He claims to be Greek Cypriot because he is ashamed of the Turks living in America. He considers Turks of Turkey as inferior.
