Beautifull! Hope you did not lay a hand on it. Watch it metamorphosise into a butterfly.

Luckily I got a hand on it before Mrs. Cyprusgrump did... it and its mate have been eating all her busy lizzies...

They've been disappearing for the past few days like carrots in a Bugs Bunny cartoon...

Evil little blighters - with voracious appetites too! Surprisingly they have very small heads. I assume those big 'eye-like' markings are to deter predators (and Mrs CG! )

Destroy them (humanely? )before you have no garden left to speak off!

We live on the edge of a cliff so they took flying lessons somewhat earlier than nature had intended... 8)

Look on the bright side, think how beautifull the garden will be when they do turn into buterflies, its gonig to be lovely and deffinately a talking point for guests. My advice is to try to find out what they dont eat and plant lots of it. Maybe if you take a picture to a garden center they will help you, must have seen them before.
