Evil little blighters - with voracious appetites too! Surprisingly they have very small heads. I assume those big 'eye-like' markings are to deter predators (and Mrs CG! :lol: )

Destroy them (humanely? )before you have no garden left to speak off!

They were too fat to squish... :x

We live on the edge of a cliff so they took flying lessons somewhat earlier than nature had intended... 8)

How could you kill it? You should have dropped it in GR's garden if he has one.

Grump, I have looked through several pages of caterpillars and cannot identify Freddie for you - though I am certain that he is not of the 'processional pine' variety!
