GC PORTS BACKLASH!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Put it this way, if Turkey was not worth as much as we say, and as little as you say, then the EU would drop Turkey like a bad habit and pile it's EU Security force at the shores of GIRNE threatening Turkey to remove it's infamous Turkish Troops immediately.

I would reconsider your blind Greek Cypriot theories if I were you as you're not looking too bright in this discussion.

Turkey should reconsider its policies on Cyprus, because after 35 years, Turkey is not looking too good, and has well and truly appeared very foolish indeed.

It is all just a BIG joke really, and the world is laughing at Turkey and the "trnc".

Good luck with the EU, because you're going to need it.

They keep saying that Greece is backward, penniless or bankrupt!

But world GDP figures paint a very different picture when comparing both Greece and Cyprus to Turkey:

Cyprus GDP per capita $32,772.

Greece GDP per capita $32,005.

Turkey GDP per capita $10,472.

So if Greece and Cyprus are bankrupt, then what does that say about Turkey when its GDP is less than 1/3 of both?

These Turks are just too funny...

Then hope they evolve fast and the EU does want them or they won't be leaving Cyprus.

What matters is i think PPP not GDP... on PPP list Cyprus is at 114 while Turkey is at number 16 and Greece at 34.

Insan trust you to find a list where Cyprus cannot be seen on the graph unless you have a microscope. It's bad for our eyes you know.

A true measure of a nations wealth is GDP Per Capita and not GDP Purchase Power Parity.

Cyprus is ranked 48th, while Greece is ranked 40th according to CIA figures 2008 estimates. Turkey however is ranked 92nd!

40 Greece $ 32,000 2008 est.
48 Cyprus $ 28,600 2008 est.
92 Turkey $ 11,900 2008 est.

https://www.cia.gov/library/publication ... 4rank.html

You can't measure a countries wealth by using GDP PPP, because then Turkey which has a population of 76 million is considered a wealthier country than Australia, and such a notion is most absurd!Image
