Yep, I walked up to the ice-cream van and asked for an ice-cream. Offered the man the money with my hand as steady as it gets even holding it with both hands. The man said crushed nuts? I said no old age can’t you tell?

No, but I used to work on the 253s, if that means anything to you, so I know the stretch from Manor House onwards.
