I am sure you don't really understand the sad excuse for an answer which you cut&pasted ... but the three languages on the Rosetta stone are Hieroglyph-Egyptian, Ancient Greek and Demotic Greek.

The Ancient Greek is >80% identical to the Greek of today (more so than Old English is to Modern English) and the Demotic Greek is >90% identical to the Greek dialects spoken today.

So, which of the three languages on the Rosetta stone applies to the "FYROM-ians" ... would it be Hieroglyphics, perhaps?

Professor Boshevski: We believe that the Ancient Macedonian language is a precursor not only to most modern Balkan languages but also to all of today's Slavic languages. We believe, and time will prove this, that all these languages have descended from the Ancient Macedonian language. Let's say that the Ancient Macedonian language is a proto-Slav language.

On the other hand, international community and UN accept that independent peoples of the world have the right to define their languages no matter how similar or how distinct they r from other languages. Why Macedonian language bothers Greeks that much?

Nothing "bothers" Greeks that much.

As for languages ... they are like Maths ... the data is all there for comparative analysis, wherever written records exist ... and the Rosetta stone and Greek and "FYROM-ish" can all be compared and evaluated independently.

It seems like it will mention abt in near future...

I guess the thousands of Egyptologists, archeologists, classicists, ancient linguists the world over are all just plain wrong. I guess we all have to thank Prof. Boshevski for making one of the greatest discoveries.

Makedonski lengvich is on the Rosetta stone. This is what Insane and Risto are telling us...i mean who are we to question the great work of Boshevski?! LOL

Is that what your mother used to tell you at nights whenever she had "visitors"?

Some GCs must have genetic insecurities of their mothers' behaviour. What the bloody hell were they getting up to? We were in enclaves but you guys ....... well your mothers’ had all the freedoms.
Baseless accusations only hurt those who are insecure. Get my drift?

I'm not a Cypriot.
I guess life was tough in your enclave, thank god your mother took up the duty of relieving those horny TMT thugs and, as a bonus, you got to be fathered by all of them! Lucky boy

I bet Insane is googling to find a reputable source that backs the FYROMski claims about the Makedonski lengvich being on the Rosetta stone. The idiocy of it all.

What was that you were saying about taking over the whole island and pushing the GCs into the ocean?

Naughty boy, where did you pick that up? Does your mother know you used to eavesdrop when she was with customers?
