A Cypriot Oath

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Shall we keep the original oath or change Federal Republic of Cyprus to "the peoples of Federal Republic of Cyprus" as suggested by YFred?

A Cypriot Oath

Postby Omer Seyhan » Wed Sep 23, 2009 12:11 am

All Cypriots and prospective Cypriots should make the following oath:

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the Federal Republic of Cyprus, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation, two languages, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

We have seen your allegiance to the Glorification of your Turkish invasion and your name is mud ... but only in English and Greek!

Turkish is for Turks in Turkey ....

Sorry mate, but I don’t believe in federations, confederations, or any other illegal political arrangements that contravene the UN Charter.

Anyone who doesn’t want to live under a one-person-one-vote modern democracy in the sovereign Republic of Cyprus, should be thrown out of the country altogether.

Seyhan I have no loyalty to any flag or government or country. Change that to the People of Federal Republic of Cyprus and I'll be the first one to sign up.

Had you been a democrat you would’ve included a “none of the above”.

I strongly believe in being decisive. No dilly dallying about. No standing on the fence. Just yes or no...

Oracle, götünün iç lastiği... That is not what I meant and you know it! The Fatherland in this quote refers to Cyprus, stop being so paranoid. You don't know a good thing when you see it.

Read the words ... why would Cyprus have to go over the sea, following the path of the sun?

It refers to the Turkish invasion .....

Cheap tricks, Omer!
