All Cypriots and prospective Cypriots should make the following oath:


"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the Federal Republic of Cyprus, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation, two languages, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Most Cypriots just want unified nations, and the Turks can't have a so called state within a Federation because they don't own these lands to begin with.

Your oath of allegiance is REJECTED!

Well forgive me Mr Evil i was under the impression that all parties in the Cyprus talks had already accepted the concept of federalism as a basis for negotiation. Most Cypriots accept it to. A federation is still a single country.

The people of the RoC have never done such a thing....

On July 8 2006, Papadopoulos and Talat signed an agreement. The very first article said:

1. Commitment to the unification of Cyprus based on a bi-zonal, bi-communal federation and political equality, as set out in the relevant Security Council resolutions.

Omer Seyhan, you cannot debate meaningfully with the arteriosclerotics.

The Annan Plan did not resemble this agreement and was rightfully rejected...
