How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Since you like facts: Turkey controls aand rules over a large chunk of Cyprus: now thats a fact. If you dont wan this to enlarge or get most of it back, then you should or people like you should behave.

Denizaksulu I pity you. You probably been a slave to Turkey all your life. You should ask your parents one question: Did any Greek Cypriot ever killed anyone in our family? The answer would be NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortuately I cannot say same. My great aunt was raped and slaughtered in 1974 for not fleeing from her home. She was 90.

My 19 year old cousin is still missing presumed dead by Turkish hands.

So, if I sound bitter you can understand why!

I am terribly sorry for your losses and the terrible things that have happened to your family. I understand the bitterness, but this does not excuse ALL the bitterness you show. If you will keep on sending us to Turkistan, then what response do you expect. I hope you too will show compassion to all the inocent Turkish Cypriots too. If you do, eventually you will feel better. I do.

I am angry that Turkish Cypriots don't see that the problem is not us but the Turkish government. Why don't they scream of the injustice!!!!!!

Both sides committed atrocities. What you need is to get some help to deal with your anger and prejudices.

I told you what the turkish army did to my family. Tell me what one Greek did to your family. The truth not Turkish lies. Were you born in 1974?

You mean that lies have a race.
I was born in 1958 in Lurucina. I lived in Cyprus up to 1972. Two of my neighbours are missing. 1 had 4 children and the other was 21 years old man(my second cousin). Both worked as farm workers, missing since 1963 when I was 5 years old. Another neighbour was a nurse in Lefkosha. We now know that eoka made mince meat out of him. But we don't sit down and pray that they will come back. We know they are dead, we just want their bones to be returned for a decent burial.
Is that enough?

Sorry for your lost.

My cousin's husband was captured by the Turkish army on August 1st, 1974. He saw with own eyes to murders the Turkish army did on Turkish Cypriots. He saw how the Turkish Cypriots who did not support the invasion were killed including their children. Then they blamed us. He left for Australia on his release.

He as well as the rest of our family believes when the foreigners leave we will find a just solution. He knows his house was destroyed because my cousin ran with two children on a pick up truck and saw the Turkish tanks knock down her house. If they can find a solution and forgive I am sure you can find it in your heart to say let by-gones be by-gones.

However, if the Turkish troops remain that won't happen.

What about the 20.000 GC soldiers and 100.000 GC armed reservists? will they go as well?

So you think we Greeks should not have an army? Imagine if Cyprus did not have an army? Then what would prevent the Turkish army to invade the entire island!!!! Viewpoint don't worry we want you to be free from Turkish slavery!
