Eroglu: Turkish forces are here to stay

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Eroglu: Turkish forces are here to stay

Postby Lit » Mon Sep 21, 2009 3:27 pm

Eroglu repeats that Turkey’s occupation forces will always maintain their presence in Cyprus

Illegal Bayrak television (20.09.09) broadcast the following:
“Prime Minister Dervis Eroglu has said that Turkey’s presence in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will continue. As long as the embargoes continue against the TRNC, Turkey will never open its ports to Greek Cypriot vessels’, said the Prime Minister.

This statement was made by Prime Minister Dervis Eroglu in response decisions taken by the Greek Cypriot National Council. Noting that the Greek Cypriot National Council had for years been calling on the Turkish Army to leave the island and for Turkish origin nationals to leave the country as well as calling for the removal of the guarantees as it claims there is no need, the Prime Minister said that these are what the Greek Cypriots have been longing for.

Stressing that the Turkish peace forces will never leave the island for the sake of the Greek Cypriots, Mr. Eroglu said: ‘We want the continuation of the existence of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the Turks of Cyprus under Turkey’s guarantee. What the Greek National Council wants will never happen’.

Reminding that the Greek Cypriot administration had announced that it would prevent Turkey’s EU membership if it does not fulfill its obligations, Mr. Eroglu stressed that Turkey has put forward it own preconditions. ‘As long as the embargoes against the TRNC are not lifted it will not open its ports to Greek Cypriot vessels’, he said.

‘Primarily the European Union should first fulfill the promises it made to the Turkish Cypriots before the 24th of April and then bring this issue to the agenda’, added Eroglu.”

Is this a declaration for all-out war?

This may be a shock to you, but should there be any escalation in Cyprus, the "trnc" will be pulverized and you would inevitably lose at least half the lands you stole.... :)

Perhaps for a full 30 seconds

As much as you dream of the day to see TC's get slaughtered again, let's hope that we don't see such a catastrophe unfold for everyones sake :(

Confident you've trained the Turkish troops so well, as their succubus?

Perhaps this time, you have everything to lose and we have everything to gain. If you do destroy the whole of Cyprus, you will have the rest of the world up in arms against you, not just our immediate allies and protectors, EU, Russia, Greece etc.

If we oust you, finally, (with help of course/maybe), then the whole world would breathe a sigh of relief that this problem is finally over, the unrecognised pseudo-state joke is finished, and justice has been done. Plus, the EU gets back 100% of its strategic interests and future oil reserves.

So we have everything to gain and you have everything to lose .... But, maybe Turkey is just looking for a way out, anyway!

On the contrary, it is you that states Turkey did a half hearted job in 74 as they did not take over the whole island.

So let Turkey have a go and let's see how far you will get this time around.

The CNG is armed to its teeth and will give you a major headache next time round.
