Weather in November?

Postby Z4 » Sun Sep 20, 2009 11:05 pm

Hello all

We are out for a late, very late, summer holiday this year. We are going over in November.

I have never been over then so have no idea what the weather will be like or what to expect?

Would I need to be very very brave to take a dip in the med??

Consider the disadvantages...

1. Very cold water
2. Increased turbulence
3. No life guards
4. Public's willingness to attempt to save you if required (if spotted), close to zero!

In layman's terms, I'd say you're pretty fucked...

On my first ever trip to Cyprus in 19??, I went swimming in Famagusta on Christmas day and New Year's day (and every day in between). I was young and adventurous then.
