Notice how the Turks in this forum preach hatred for Greeks. Why? I read zan say to a Greek go back to mainland Greece. Does he understand that Cyprus has 800,000 people. 658,000 are Greek Cypriots. Only 100,000 are Turks which include their army and illegal settlers. So if all the Greeks go to the mainland, where as my family have roots on Cyprus dating back to 5,000 BC, the island would be empty. Now, does that make sense? Because Turks hate us Greeks, we have to leave our own land? I got a better idea. Why don't they leave us alone. Go back to their country Turkmenistan in Central Asia. That's where they come from. Why did the Knights of Templar lose Jerusalem? We wouldn't have this problem if they won!!!!!!

How do we get the Barbaric Turkish army off our island? With war? Enough killing of innocent Greeks. We are an educated people, but the Turkish might beats us every time. In 1922, Greeks were forced out of Asia Minor. In 1953, Greeks were forced out of Alexandria, Egypt. In 1974, we were forced out of Northern Cyprus. This must end. Even the Jews got Israel after 2000 years of exile. We can't get Northern Cyprus after 35 years!

It's not about all or nothing. The Greeks are not belligerent or invade other countries ... If you want to go back 2,500 years ago .... we did not have sovereign countries then.
