Expressing the hope that a solution will be found to the Cyprus problem, President Talat said ‘I hope to create an atmosphere where the two peoples on the island will be able to able to tolerate one another, be more understanding towards one another and live together.’

Is there any point in tolerating each other when you have partition? Thats what Talat is aiming at.

Had he said live together as one country and tolerate each other, then I would call him a credible and brave leader . Naturally action must follow words.

Before he died Deniz......I would rather live in a divided Cyprus....etc etc etc...At least Talat is sowing respect for the GCs and not just tolerating them until something better comes along like Tpap....
