I always got the impression that FRED wanted to be friendly but felt backed up against the wall? And as I oft complained to him - some of his responses were so Gross!

But there have been many other responses by other more articulate posters on here, more carefully worded, that were far more 'nasty' than FRED's instant outbursts.
