Yesterday our forum friend Bananiot and our common friend Micheal also joined our regular Saturday coffee meeting at Buyukhan .

Our table was full up that we could not sit around the table . How it was great to here voices of mixed languages .....Turkish ,Greek and common language for all of us was English . Every passing day our friends are increasing .....unbelievable.
I bet you enjoy your GULLU MAHALLEBI Bananiot.

your luck might change as well Insancığım ........ at our table u can have a chance to meet very well knowing peoples from both side . There is a also well knowing GC writers and English writers are joining us as well .

see u on 4th october ........ at 6th october i will fly to Istanbul and return back to Cyprus at 11 october....ıts mean i will not be at our 10 october meeting ........

Ah mahalebee! Lovely refreshing stuff, all soft and melt in the mouth and with that delightful rose cordial.

I remember one visit to central Nicosia back in the late '70s there was an old boy selling the stuff on the pavement, from the back of a push-bike I seem to recall.

Don't see that anymore, do you? (???)

Yes u do ........ If u goto SarayOnu in old nicosia next to post office (at North) u can test it .

Halil there is an old man called Suleyman from Aysozomeno trades in front of Kapali charshi just beyond where you have your meetings. Have you ever tasted his mahallebi?
