Does anyone know what is happenning with the golf course in Tersefanou? Lots of stories going around but not getting any real information. Would be great to know - thanks.

As if we give a sh*t about something that is going to require more water than a lot of villages!

The golf course will bring more tourists to the Larnaca area which will bring more money and more prosperity to many people in the region who desperately need it. And yes, of course, while people need water to live, sadly they also need money!!! Many people purchased property on the back of this course and now find themselves in VERY deep s**t (as you put it) with none of the return they were promised. The water issue, as far as I understand, has obviously been the subject of much debate and quite rightly so. I am quite certain that the plans are supposed to include recirculating the water used so as not to take valuable water from where it is needed most. I may be wrong but I certainly hope that this is the case.
Would still like to know if anyone knows what is happenning?

Well maybe CBBB thats the way here, but also some projects if done correctly and well and with its own desalination could be good for the island, its a difficult one to judge, Medgolf seems to be in approx forty different resorts in the Med so maybe legit and of course Nigel Howarth runs the online Property Magazine.

The huge amount of golf courses talked about, was I hope just that, talk, but one or two very good ones well run could be an asset here in the East.
