Well said. Why should Cyprus be punished for the Turkish invasion? I have one question though? Uhh, how do you do it, Nikitas? How do you put up with the backwardness in this forum? Inquiring minds want to know.....

Yeh, right. Just shows how stupid were the EU. Taking in Cyprus with its 'unresolved mess'. Beggars belief. Idiots

Easy: Turkish army out of Cyprus. Illegal settlers out of Cyprus. Refugees go back home. Everyone is happy. No problems. The Turkish government will never allow it. Why? Their hatred of Greeks overwhelms logic.

Poppycock. To resolve the Cyprus issue, Ankara must change its stand. Answer the question. Why should Cyprus be punished (again) for Ankara's intransigent position?

All one can say is that the EU's decision to admit Cyprus backfired. They are a toothless entity and Turkey knows.

BTW, in NO way do I SUPPORT TURKEYS INTRANSIGENCE.

Deniz, if it wasn't for the fact that Cyprus is in the EU, we would not be having any settlements talks now or in the future. Remember, according to Denktash and Turkey, the Cyprus problem was solved in 1974.!

You are incredibly stupid, ignorant and blind. The Cyprus talks have been going on since 1963. Cyprus Joined EU in 2004. How on earth can you make a claim that there would be no talks if it weren't for the EU. If anything, it has made a settlement impossible, because the GCs have no incentive to talk. The EU leaders know it, and sooner or later you and the likes of you will to.

Kiks, from what I sense, no current leader is capable to achieving peace - even if they mean to. I trust neither, more so Talat.
