No Christine, Lurucina is not part of the South. The last time the Southerners got near Lurucina, it was in 1974 and it was with tanks ready to flatten it. So you can see why they are a little shy of joining the south, but we live in hope.

My family tree dates back to 5,000. We are more Greek than the people of Athens. We are Minoans! Athenians copied our culture. So why would I want to leave my homeland of 5,000 years? Where Turks came to our beloved island less than 250 years. So who has more rights on Cyprus my family or yours?

Remember the Ottoman Turks made the Parthenon a Mosque. They destroyed it. That is why it's in ruin. But us Greeks are restoring it. Turks destroy. Greeks restore. Same with Cyprus the Turks destroy. Greeks restore. That is why I am proud to be GREEK!
