The Spectrum of Probability about God's existence...

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Where do you fit in about God's existence or non existence?

Strong theist: 100% probability of God - 'I do not believe, I know'.

14%
De facto theist: very high probability but short of 100% - 'I strongly believe in God and live my life on the assumption he is there'.
3

Higher than 50%, but not very high. Technically agnostic but leaning towards theism - 'I am very uncertain but I am inclined to believe in God'.
2

Impartial agnostic: exactly 50% - 'God's existence and non-existence are exacly equiprobable'.

Technically agnostic: lower than 50% but not very low. Technically agnostic but leaning towards atheism - 'I don't know whether God exists but I'm inclined to be sceptical'.

So who designed the designer?

We’re not privy to heavenly knowledge for the time being…

Heard of Charles Darwin? He explains all?

So why do you need to console yourself with the omnipotent almighty?

A few months ago I gave you all the perfect opportunity in a dedicated thread to prove your theories but you all failed miserably!

I can’t search for the thread right now because CYTA is playing up after the storm so maybe later…

I remember the thread clearly. That is when O wiped the floor with you.

Since you talk about evidence, then perhaps you can provide some about the existence of the omnipotent almighty.

Perhaps you can start with Charles Darwin proven scientific facts about evolution and then prove all the religious myths about creationism.

I can't prove that fairies don't exist, but I can safely presume that this is the case, and the same can be said about 'God'.

That is always the answer you get to this question which is why such discussions will never go anywhere.

Proving the existence of God is easy Paphitis… :)

Look out your window and up into the skies… what do you see?

Congratulations! You’ve just witnessed…

…of the universe!

How did you miss it all these years?

Coco Chanel! 8)

I don't think it would work like that. If God created us this way, it doesn't mean God would also be like that...

You wouldn't expect God to have hair, nails or have to eat food and pass waste, so why expect God to be given birth to? :?

But "God" would have to exist to create the universe before the universe existed. If nothing existed, then how did He achieve his marvelous feat?

And whom or what power created the creator?

You’re applying earthly knowledge and logic to comprehend heavenly matter/issues…

Man, likes to think that they have the capacity to understand everything!

It goes to show how stupid we are…

You would need to provide just one shread of scientific data that even suggests the existence of God. Go on I challenge you!

On the other hand, there is plenty of evidence that tears down the myths of religion one by one and which has blown creationism out of the water.

What you refer to about the universe is easily debunked GR!:

I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it.

Albert Einstein 1954.

It's only a matter of time GR!

So far science has proven that the chance of God's existence is less that 0.000000000001%. So it is only a matter of time before science removes all doubt.

Think about the progress science has made in the 20th century and compare that to the previous 2,000 years and then imagine the inroads science and technology will make in the 21st century....

Well if nothing existed before the universe, where did the atom come from?

50 years on, our science has revealed next to nothing yet Einstein had “unbounded admiration” for the little he saw…
