As for what this issue has to do with solution of cyprus problem... I don't know.

That's what comes of spending too long staring at statues of your idol Ataturk!

U sound like again as u need some entertainment to get rid of ur boredom of an empty meaningless life. :lol

Perhaps, we all should let u spew all ur guts out, clean ur inner world from all the dirts and refill it with somethings nice, kind, caress, respectful, humane, intelligent etc...

Sorry insan, I'm in a silly Friday mood as my assignments are nearly finished. :D

I'll shut up now and go and complete them before I post again!

Ahah!...You're a theist.

But what kind of a theist are you?

Are you the George W Bush variety, or are you a de facto theist? :?

I only really understood (rudimentary understanding that is) what wave theory is when I was doing a little research into vitamin C after a conversation with Oracle. I sent her an article that explains the atomic activity of how our bodies take such "ingredients" and use them. It seems that there has to be an imbalance in order to gain from the transaction. It sounded very much like the imbalance that is thought to have set off the Big Bang. It is also the way the Atom bomb works and that seems to be the way the whole universe works. We are just the echo of the Big Bang.........A complex wave form in which thought and the quest for who we are and why we are here begins. Enter Religion. An imbalance of "Why's" spawned a series of "Maybe's" not being able to understand the world around them. We are no where near understanding fully but we now know there is a lot more to understand and not think in absolutes.

That article wasn't about wave theory ... it was about free-radical mopping by antioxidants!

I said it set me thinking not what the article was about...It is called lateral thinking dear.......

By the way...What do people think about starting a poll on "can women think laterally"....I don't want to sound sexist but me and the wife have a hard time when it comes to decorating.....She seems to think that the only thing that goes with blue is blue, or shades of, for instance. I find it claustrophobic just TRYING to think that way?????

One of the many bits I liked about "The God Delusion" is when he talks about belief as a evolutionary trait and how this has been exploited by the priest kings of early civilizations through to religions of today.

This must be true. It must have - or have had at some stage - a survival value. But what is it?

Perhaps fear of punishment in an afterlife contributed to the creation of the first "stable" communities where the laws were respected.

Also, when survival instincts mix with human conscience comes the greatest fear of man, the certainty of death. What better way to remove that constant agony from our heads than convince ourselves that there's life even after death?

G.Bush doesn’t believe in God; he just uses God’s name in vein to benefit at other’s expense.

Did the Ancient Greeks believe in hell?

Or did they just believe that if they did not obey certain rules that pleased Zeus etc etc, then the Gods from Olympus will meter some kind of other punishment, such as a Storm, or earth quake?
