Doing what? Wondering how we’re going to get to the next galaxy out of the trillions out there?

You’d better pack a lot of sandwiches… :?

As soon as these beings realize how selfish and evil we are we’re gonna get bitch slapped… and it shouldn’t take them long!

How ridiculous that NASA is trying to “make contact” with other beings…

Nasa: “Welcome to planet Earth!”

Alien: “Shut up amoeba!”

If they are as clever as I hope they will be then we will be observed while a silver tongued explorer will narrate while attempting to make eye contact with us....

I think we should forward Emma Ruby as our representative in the hope that they’ll take pity on us…

You make very silly presumptions.

Inter galactic space travel and even colonization is not at all far fetched.

NASA is already preoccupied with finding planetary systems capable of sustaining life.

Basically, what you see in Star Trek may very well become a reality within the next millennium....so there is plenty of time before our Sun turns into a Supernova....

I’d suggest you watch fewer movies but what the hell… you’ve got the IQ of an amoeba anyway!

Working in the Defence and Aeronautical Aerospace Industry, I only know too well what is in stall for us in the very near future.

Only 50 years ago, there were people like yourself that said, "man will never set foot on the moon".

Hold on tight GR!, because your grandchildren will be in for one hell of a ride....

I believe it is more likely that the Aussies are going to be at the forefront of this as well....The last people on earth that have no self imposed restrictions and are always ready to ask " I wonder what will happen if I press that button"!

This is an old chestnut intorduced by William Paley at the beginning of the 19th century, but which is rather simple to challenge. See Dawkins' "Climbing Mount Improbable' or, if you can't be bothered to read, watch this piece from David Attenborough http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yj_lNQerUJ4
