Paphitis wrote:The Aussie Cypriot you may meet in Cyprus is a bit soft and couldn't handle it in Australia, so there is little chance he ould be able to drink you under the table...

Got a question for you.

Are you the author of the book "The Cypriot" written by an Andreas Koumi?

It's said we're related... aren't all Cypriots?

Paphitis wrote:It sounds like a very interesting book and I want to get a copy... :)

Yes, some people have said it's an OK read. I wouldn't know myself. I prefer non fiction.

Paphitis wrote:If I order a copy of your book, could you autograph it for me? :D

Once you've read it, if you like it, I'm sure something can be arranged. I can speak to his people.

It wasn't Copernicus you have to thank for a heliocentric model of the solar system, though you scathe Ptolemy whose planetary motions were most accurate, but Aristarchus's heliocentric scheme some 2,000 years before Copernicus ...

"But I am eager to learn about North London in the 70s and how GCs and TCs related to each other!"

You ask, I will tell you. Being a rebellious type I knew more of the seedier sides of life than the official cocktail parties and such. So if you want the real stuff start a thread. Obviously pseudonyms will have to be used to avoid smearing reputations (even if undeserved).

Am I reading this right, The Cypriot is Andreas Koumi, the man who wrote this book?

It is quite funny that in his reply to Paphitis, The Cypriot stated that he prefers non fiction, which is exactly what Mr Koumi states in the video! Was that intentional The Cypriot?

Has anyone else noticed how needlessly prickly O gets around this time each month? I'd blame the moon but that would be heavenly body-ist.
