I believe it's clear enough for those who hide behind their little finger and justify the turkish illegal invasion as being legal.

Turkey broke the treaty, and she continues to violate it for 30 years now. Should we have waited for ever until Turkey stoped the violations?

This is how the UK does its treaties? If the other country brakes the treaty, then the UK is supposed to continue with it unilateraly?

An organisation???. I thought the treaty said a state.
So why the TC vice president did not veto the joining of Cyprus in the non aligned movement. Why he did not veto the joining of Cyprus into Commowealth? were Greece and Turkey members?

Like I said, there is no point trying to argue with people that have been brainwashed. What is white is black, what black is white.

I'm not giong to waste my breath anymore! How many times do we have to go through the same arguments?

I agree.....broken records, the lot of you. No wonder you lot can think of a solution, 'cos your all stuck in the 1960's.

It has happened, it was wrong and we have to move on.

If Israel were still mad at the Germans about the Holocaust, then where would they be? We have to accept things have happened and move forward and work together.

Code: Select all

Both sides have their own little agenda hence on both sides a form of brainwashing has been occuring for 30 years now imo.

As new members join the forum we will inevitably be repeating ourselves over and over again but its a form of putting the other sides opinions forward and educating the other sides concerns and beliefs hence i do not think it will ever be a waste of breath.
Obviousley you will get people who are so beyond understanding that you will never accomplish anything with them and those you just put down to experience and move on.

One of the cores of the problem is our leaders who have been preaching their agenda to us for 30 years now and we the faithful have listened and taken it on board about the monsters that live on the otherside, but then when the restrictions were lifted we found that the other side were just plain old human beings like ourselves only interested in peace.
So now we have a dilema where we have 30 years of brainwashing and all the new info that contradicts our teachings, we try to stay loyal to our teachings but also try to absorb the new truths that systematically keep popping up, that in turn is leaving us confused in what to believe and who to follow.

Well some are just choosing to follow the old teachings, those we will call the nationalists, then there is those who are choosing to accept new ideas, those we will call the undecided and then we have those that accept that both sides have been brainwashing and now only accept evidence and truth, these we will call the cypriots who are not biased to one sides teachings, so i ask who are you, and this goes out to all forum members pick who you are then stand by your line i am the third type for anyone interested.
