That’s bound to mean that future Spartan lobotomies will no longer be funded by the Greek government and that’s bound to hurt Yialoser’s Golden Dawn memberships!

Ankara earlier in the day issued a NAVTEX for the conduction of exploration by the Norwegian research vessel 'Bergen Surveyor' and accompanying vessels from September 15 to November 15 in an area that also overlaps with the Greek continental shelf south of the island of Kastelorizo, as delineated under the Law of the Sea.

At the same time, instructions were also given to the Greek Embassy in Oslo to contact the shipowning company of the research vessel, and the Norwegian foreign ministry to inform it of the Greek positions.

The M/V Bergen Surveyor is owned by Wavefield Inseis ASA, a Norwegian marine geophysical company that provides exploration and other related services that has been acquired by CGGSVeritas.

Turkey early Friday issued a NAVTEX advising of "Seismic survey by M/V Bergen Surveyor, M/V Sharona, M/V Glomar Venture and Thor Beamer between 15 Sept-15 Nov".

French oil companies show interest in Cyprus EEZ

Sunday, September 25, 2011

According to an article in Kathimerini the French oil giants ‘Total’ and ‘Gaze de Frans’ bought three-dimensional seismic data for gas deposits in Cyprus' Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). The cost of seismic data was over the 2 million euros for the company “Frans de Gaze” and over 1.6 million euros for the “Total”.

According to Cypriot state broadcaster CyBC, so far, three-dimensional seismic data were bought by over 30 companies active in the petroleum sector. Candidates include a Norwegian company and the Russian giant "Gazprom" who is said to be preparing to purchase seismic data and make a dynamic bid in the second round of licensing.

Yialoser, when the Golden Dawn funds run dry from the mainland I’ll give you a job as a stamp damper. All you’ll have to do is stand straight in a corner with your tongue poking out.

BREAKING NEWS - Turkey's Piri Reis in Cyprus Plot 1 across Paphos right now!
Monday, September 26, 2011

The Turkish surveyor KOCA PIRI REIS is at this moment in Plot 1 of Cyprus’ EEZ just southwest off the coast of Paphos, within the range of PM-40 Exocet Block II ground-surface missiles. It is accompanied by a frigate and a submarine, a report on defencenet jushttp://www.defencenet.gr/defence/ind ... temid=139t said.

On Friday afternoon the boat picked up speed after Smyrna, and sailed south with a speed 8.5 knots.

The ship is within the EEZ of Cyprus and so far there is no information about its final destination.

If the ship attempts to carry out seismic activity in Cyprus’ EEZ and especially in PLOT 1 (where it is currently situated in) then God knows what will happen.

(The story will be updated today as soon as more information becomes available)
