Yeah.. but on the other hand, it is crystal clear to me that u only want to hear the things u like to hear. Let us talk, listen and come with counter arguments without resorting insults. It is easy for me too, to behave like u and when u say something I don't like; i can easily define it as a "crap" shoot it into the dustbin and ignore it.

In London, Cypriots don't govern a geo-politically important Island. They don't have common or conflicting interests in Cyprus. They r not politicians. They don't have language barrier for a healthy communication... and lots more..

May I just say on this, that on all my years here in London, England (and am a born and bred Londoner of more years standing than you'll ever get out of me but if you want a clue I remember trolley buses on the streets of London in my childhood), I have never seen or heard of any bad feeling betwen tissies and grissies here. Not a single incident, not an inciest, teeniest thing.

As much as you try you cannot disassociate yourself from the past Ed.....As long as people like me are alive, and they are by the thousands, it is my present. You cannot complain about numbers and not include the thousands like me. That was the idea that was represented in the Akritas plan...A long term strategy to eliminate TC voters and change the demographics of the island. We posed less of a threat to politics if we were less.....Well the redress is there for all to see....When the international community look at the numbers then we remind them of the above. In civilised countries, what the GCs tried too do is vote rigging.

If u have read u would have known that many people from various countries share my view; actually I agree with them. It seems u have no knowledge abt globalization, Marshall and Truman doctrines, motives behind the foundation of EU, Onw world government etc..

There r many London based political and semi-political public Cypriot organizations... why do their members/workers comprise of either pure GCs or pure TCs? Because they get on well to a degree. When their interests conflict, they seperate their ways.

You cannot complain about numbers and not include the thousands like me. Zan, the whole premise of my thread is that since TCs and GCs have lived in the UK, and even through the events leading up to and after 74, they have actually got along together and done business and employed each other.

It just goes to show that on neutral ground (however you want to interpret this) Cypriots of any ethnicity can actually happily co-exist.

I think that they did under British rule once before but then the troubles started because the Church did not get what it thought it would from them. That could possibly happen soon or the TCs could be affected if it goes the other way.....Then it all starts all over again...We are being pushed too far. One side they want to talk and the other they stab us in the back.

It is ur self-interpretation... might only be seen in touristic guides, touristic websites etc.
