Zan, which ever way you construct your argument, the Orams case is mis-directed towards the legitimate GC owner. Their legal case should be against the TC/Turk (who has yet to step forward) who mis-sold them the property.

I digress because compared to the numbers of TC/Turkish community in London, the GCs cannot even hope to make an impact, and the numbers actually engaged in the above are not even worth mentioning.

The GC and TC of London DO actually get along.

It should be directed against the TRNC if anyone because they issued the deads.....But that would get them nowhere so knowingly they attack the Brits thinking that this will seem as if they are not attacking the TCs who will be affected.

What I said was that things are GETTING tense...... :?

Imo, their legal case should have been against TC/Turkish government because TC laws allow persons to sell GC property to foreigners with the permission of council of ministers of TRNC.

Well Oracle, I went into a TCs house in the 80s and the had a sticker which had Cyprus in red with the star and cresent in it and yes it had an effect on me, but you can't let bullshit propoganda like that get to you because the ignorant father of the house has such views.

The father was old school, but the fact of the matter is that generally the TC and GC in London actually get along.

I met a lovely TC family back in 1992 when I visited my then 70 year old aunt in Islington London. They were good mates. I have also met a lovely TC family in Melbourne Australia who were welcoming and friendly and acknowledged that if Cypriots were to be left alone they could live peacefully but outside forces cloud people's perceptions of one another.

Oh yes ... we "get along". Pass the time of day etc .

But that's not living together is it?

Basically they have once again proved themselves to be the scum of the Earth; and I know I have high ethical expectations of people, so I give them a bit of leeway (being neighbours and all), but really what else do we have in common?

They want, want, want! I can't forgive people who flout Human Rights laws in this way, as being decent!

I am thoroughly ashamed of the behaviour of TCs and I hate the fact they use the "Cypriot" label as they are basically scummy and they will tarnish the rest of us Cypriots who do view International Laws and Human Rights Laws as fundamental to our civilisation ...

Oracle, whether you like it or not TCs are Cypriots like you and me.

What an excellent epitomy for the case for partition you are.

The big elephant in the TCs room is that they have probably lost more than the GCs in the so called Turkish "peace" operation.

Can someone actually clarify how many actual TCs there are left in Cyprus because as I see it they are now a minority and will always be doomed to be as such.

There are plenty of TCs in London, I have met and spoken to them and whilst the UK has a negative immigration rate with Cyprus yes - we do actually get along.
