That was British fault. My father fought in the British army because they promised us union with Greece if the Nazis were defeated. Then what did they do? They stirred Turkey to be against us reuniting with Greece. when did they use that tactic? When they saw they could not stop us for fighting for our freedom. If you consider George Washington a Hero than you will consider George Grivas a hero. Cyprus is a Greek island. Even the Turks agree but will never admit it. Let's compromise. Turkish troops and settlers leave and will rebuild Cyprus to be the gem of Europe!!!!!!!!

If it not a Greek island what is it? 658,000 out of 800,000 are Greek Orthodox Christians. 120,000 are other Christians of Greek or Armenia decent. What is left? UN soldiers, foreigners and Turks ( settlers and TC) that is less than 80,000 people. Remember, 30,000 are Turkish troops. So that makes 50,000 Turkish Cypriots and settlers. So 780,000 must die so 50,000 can live on the island. Does that make sense to you? Explain to me your logic?
