Gosh ... I didn't realise the mere mention of "Turks" makes everyone associate all of them with nasty things!

Surely some (maybe most) types of Turks are just regular groups. But by your reactions, it seems you (Deniz, SSBubs, Zan) blame all of them.

Maybe there is one bad apple amongst them which is spoiling the whole bunch. Let's find out!

Now, the only ones I personally have any gripes with, are those who destroyed the Greek civilisation of days-gone-by, plundered Europe generally, but mostly have destroyed Cyprus and still occupy it.

Well, which group is responsible (bad apple) for the above atrocities and especially which of the Turkic tribes has invaded Cyprus?

So, I am afraid you alone are to blame for all these atrocities.

Now, why won't anyone put a name to the tribe(s) which came together (in evil), to occupy half of Cyprus?

Greek converts

even Ottoman Turks and others from other Turkic states.

1) The Jannisary/ Yeniceri

2) The Leventis or sailors to you, who were mostly from the Greek Islands (probably) from Cyprus too.
