You'd have to ask "baby-come-fly-with-me" since the "Cyprus Trash" thread is our Archive collection of her posts ...

My goodness handbags at dawn, emotionsl fly high here don't they.

I always decide before parting with my money what the actual worth is to me for that product or service. I know in my own mind what I would be prepared to pay; and very seldom do i go above it (skinflint if you like but on this issue proud of it). If I think I have received good service and value for money I would certainly give a tip as I know I would not have paid over the odds for the article itself. I would have much rather gone without it than to walk away feeling 'ripped off'!

I usually give 10 % if the service is good and it is a spot I frequent. Needless to say if the service is bad I don't tip and don't go back. (They will spit in your food) My wife normally objects, but she is Cypriot while I hail from the new USSA (United Socialist States of America)

jb1212 I was in Cyprus last December, and whenever i went out to a restaurant i would also leave a 20 percent tip, once with a cypriot friend he asked what i was doing? without me knowing it he took the tip out of the folder and gave it back to me...These people in cyprus do not tip at all, he told me that if i left a tip of that magnitude these people would think i was stupid..I think being in Wyoming all this time some of the Cypriot has been taken out of me....I am full blooded Cypriot by the way but live in Wyoming now
