Here is another case:

A man was arrested on illegal meat trading from the free areas of the Republic of Cyprus

Turkish Cypriot daily Yeni Volkan newspaper (14.10.09) reports that a person at the age of 40 and with initials Y.Z. has been arrested by the so – called police at the occupied Keryneia gate on his attempt to carry 160 kilos of beef from the free territories of the Republic of Cyprus to the occupied areas without declaring the goods to the so-called “customs authorities” first.

i see turks in orfanides and the mall all the time with trollies full of foods..

what do they care where the meat came from

people. in the dark these deals are made;
it seems if you have a Turkish Army to feed

this incident is small but quite revealing. there is leverage in food.
...they have not resisted this trade called illicit.
