Hey GetReal!, you've been a poster in this forum for what, 2, 3 years? From an audience of about 40 Greek Cypriots you've successfully dehellenized approximately... none. With this rate I doubt you'll manage to reach your target of converting 600,000 GCs to Neocypriotism before your time comes

How many more times do you have to get owned by Simon, Piratis, Oracle, Paphitis and the rest of your Greek/Greek Cypriot enemies before YOU start hiding? It's not a matter of faith or persistence, but a matter of dignity, so save some by quietly fading away, thank you

Good to see you again Alexis, and I hope you stick around because I’m running out of adversaries and your twin little bro Simon has almost given up the ghost!

He did put up a brave fight though… 8)

Stop panicking, The Cypriot.

All it shows, is that people tend to be most like their historical ancestors and nearest neighbours depending on how long they have been nearest neighbours and how much mixing they underwent.

Most groups are a mixed bag and there are traces of which other tribes they interacted with in the past. Eventually we will have extensive fingerprints with which to do comparisons so that we can trace our tracks since we left Africa.

This is nowhere near completion.

But the point I was trying to get across to Omer, who seemed intent on rubbishing history is that, to date, ALL the emerging data fit in with the history and regional boundaries of countries and the accepted (mass of) historical records.

Here for example is the genetic profile of the ethnic groups of Europe which confirms their final, recent groupings according to what we understand now as regional/country boundaries.

Similarity of DNA ties in with country of origin and so in future Forensic Investigators will be be able to match DNA to the country of origin of the suspect.

There is another one which confirms the fingerprint traces of the Greeks' movements over the last 2-3,000 years such as their tracks in Sicily and so on. Yes the picture is complicated if they don't remove the 10% or so from samples of TCs. If they did, the CYP samples would probably be even closer to the Greek samples. The reason why the Greek samples do not overlap completely with the Cypriot samples, is that the Greeks covered a wider area and mix with tribes to the east and north boundaries which perhaps for this DNA marker used in the graph, was not represented in the Cypriots.

Anyway, there are no shocks, so far, and as I said I only posted it yesterday to show Omer he is wasting his time if he thinks the Turks can carry on with propaganda to eliminate ethnic groups. Unless they are thorough with their Genocides there will be traces for forensic scientist to piece together Man's wonderful, colourful legacy ......

And bloomin' Albanians too! Sheesh.

So what?

Are you a Nazi?

Basically every grouping is close, as far as I'm concerned, as we are all bloomin humans. Racist I am not!

Why are you so sensitive about it? Is it a "Greek" thing?

No! Its a Cypriot thing.

You would be upset if I questioned your Cypriotness too.

Paphitis wrote:Do I question your Cypriotness. No I don't. Unfortunately you question mine, and you should be ashamed of yourself!

The Cypriot wrote:
Ashamed of what? I've never, ever questioned your Cypriotness. Why would I do that? You are Cypriot.

Good! Glad to hear it.

Perhaps you could do one better and stop pestering Hellene Cypriots (Cypriots who believe they are Greek). It's the least you could do.

Paphitis wrote:Few people believe being Cypriot has nothing to do with Hellenism, most do. Deal with it and just let people be.

The Cypriot wrote:
No one believes Cypriot has "nothing to do with Hellenism". No one. There. I dealt with it.

If some people do, then that is their prerogative. If they don't believe there is a connection, then that is also their prerogative.

It can't get any simpler than that.

I’ve got some new material for a new phase of attacks which proves beyond any reasonable doubt that ancient Greece wasn’t even a country, but a huge mandra full of livestock which were given voting rights by the Slavs, and the very birthplace of sheep shagging! 8)

You should see the new thread I am working on about midget pigmy homosexual Choirokitians as evidenced from various pornographic sculptures performing sodomy....

You're not running out of "adversaries", you're running out of people willing to waste their time by trying to convince you of something you'll never accept on "principle". No matter how catastrophic to your theories their arguments may be, you'll simply ignore them and repeat the same nonsense.

"Ου με πείσεις καν με πείσεις". Look it up if you can't figure out what it means

Don’t be so hard on your self Alexis! :( Not everything you were posting was nonsense… I mean you always got your name right! :D

In fact, how about starting right now by reading what I posted above?

I did and I thank you for your kind words! :)

You heard my mate Alexis people… to avoid the risk of posting nonsense, perhaps its best if everyone just sits back and absorbs everything I have to say… 8)

Big surprise, you did it again. Your arguments are so weak you don't dare to put them to the test by actually discussing with those who disagree. You simply spit them out and ignore what everyone else says. You'll have to get much wittier and better educated to sustain such arrogance
