The Cypriot .... do you define the TCs as "Turkish/Muslim"?

I, personally, would define "TCs" as indigenous Cypriots with a notionally Muslim background - as we know many if not most TCs don't take religion that seriously.

So, the phrase "Turkish/Muslim" is not synonymous with TCs?

This "obsession" has only surfaced since the obsessive neo-Cypriots appeared trying to tell us what we are and what we are not.

An equivalent obsession perhaps with which traditional Christians reject "obsessive" neo-intellectuals like Richard Dawkins for offering a different perspective on religion.

So now you're only offering a different viewpoint. Well then, this is our viewpoint, and it is no more obsessive than yours.

It has a simple resolution. Everybody stop banging on about our identity, and instead put their energies into solving the national problem.

How can we when the vast most of Cypriots on this forum won't even put Cyprus and all its legitimate people first, godammit?

I'm sorry but the quality of your poll is poor and in no way does the opinions on this forum reflect those in Cyprus. For example, many options you have given do not exclude others, yet you have created an either/or poll. Views can clearly be misrepresented here. Furthermore, the more you bang on about identity, the more people will defend theirs. You will not get people to change their minds (if that is your aim) by going about it like you are.

I mean, I don't see TCs tearing each other apart every 5 minutes about how they define themselves, do you?

Well maybe they should. It would do them some good to exercise some freedom of thought and freedom of expression.

They won't, because they have more common sense than you. They'll wait for you to declare yourself a TC, and you're half way there!

The whole basis of his passion seems to be focused on the threat against Turkish Cypriot culture in Cyprus due to the Turkish Occupation. He is also a big advocate for justice, and you simply can't wrong his contributions.
