That's a circular definition.

'If someone wants to know what a cellular phone is, telling them that it is a "phone that is cellular" will not be especially illuminating.'

A true Cypriot is someone who puts Cyprus and all its legitimate people ahead of all other considerations.

A Cypriot can be Greek, Turkish, British or whatever else as long as their true allegiance lies with the RoC.

Being a Cypriot national, with unwavering allegiance to the RoC has absolutely no bearing on one's ethnicity, be it Greek, Turkish or English...all this nonsense to the contrary is just absurd.

The results of this poll suggest otherwise and are proving incredibly illuminating...

Edited for sanity sake.

That's actually quite profound.

But that was the motto for Turks removing the GCs from the north of the island ... it is Zan's mantra and raison d'etre!

I voted for someone who is not "Turkish".

At the moment they are the enemy occupants and so should not be given citizenship/Cypriot Nationality, even if applying in some legitimate capacity (standard practice during war, I think).

The "Muslim" bit was superfluous as Cypriot citizens are not defined by their religion.

What? I put in:

• Someone who (thinks he/she) is Greek really but comes from Cyprus

just for you.

But Cypriots are Greek fool.

Which is why I gave you the above option. It's like telling the man at the sweet shop how much you love white chocolate, so he stocks up on Milky Bars just for you, but you go and buy a Mars bar.

It means I offered you what you've always said you wanted but you didn't take it.
