Any advice on a hotel in Ayia Napa from 23/9/09 to 7/10/09?

Hi, me and girlfriend are wanting to spend two weeks in Ayia Napa(never been to cyprus before), we are late 20's/early 30's. We are really wanting to be close to the beach and quite close to the action, however, my girlfriend is a little worried about staying in a hotel that will be full of teenagers/early 20's being loud and annoying 24/7. I was just wondering if anybody on here could advise us on a hotel that is well located for Ayia Napa but not full of louty brits, also how busy we can expect it to be in the last week of september and first week of october. We are not expecting it to be quiet and will be out to the early hours, just not wanting to be disturbed at 4am etc with young people drunk and all the delights that go with as you experience every weekend in the uk. Any advice will be most appreciated, thanks.

Hi jgorst I,ve stayed in Ayia Napa for the last sixteen years and the best hotel I have stayed in is the Alion 5* it,s right on the beach and a 15 min walk to the centre passing many bars and tavernas on the way in.If you want something cheaper the Grecian sands 4* next door is also very good you can book with Thomas Cook or Thomsons,or if you want to go independently you can book through Hotels4u.com hope this helps

thanks rigsby, most helpful but i fear they may be a little to expensive for us, basically we would like somwhere self catering that comfortable and just not loud 24/7. also any ideas on how busy we can expect it to be when we're going, i'm guessing not as busy as july/august but having never been before im not quite sure. thanks

It will be quite busy but the resession may make it less so,we always go in june and its never a problem the area I recomended is away from the centre, there are some nice looking apartments called Tofinis just up the road I have not stayed in them but have used their restaurant and I thought it looked very nice.I don,t know who you would book with though just thought of another in same area Melissi can,t give you any info on those

Whatever you do stay away from the Anthea Appartments, the place is a pighole.
The shot below was of the bathroom window if you can believe it, we fled the filthy ant, mouse and cockroach infested place after one night.

I,ve remembered an apartment we stayed at three years ago. They have private owners and are rented out by www.villarenters.com they are quite new on the outskirts of Ayia Napa 5-10mins walk to shops and bars also beach is close by.they are called Nissi goldern sands if you click onto the above you will see them. A taxi from Larnaca will cost you 50-55 euros and you will have to book your flights
